This is a piece of fanart I did for :iconcallistohime:'s and her Junior Co-Author :iconwishiwould:'s fancition Among the Ashes.

So, um instead of drawing a scene from chapter 16, I decided on some symbolism...or...you know, I don't really know what that is, but it's fanart ^^; I took Zelda's dream from part one and jumbled it all together into one picture. The rose, it's there. So is the bloody Link and the Zelarthness. (I decided to leave out the dead Marth too, cuz that be kind of...well not fun to draw. :paranoid:)

I also decided to put in that pearl necklace Link gave to Zelda many chapters back. I also tied in some things with Time Cannot Erase. At the top is Zelda when she gained all the triforces and created mass destruction :o

Um...what to say..........uh, go easy on me, please. I haven't drawn these characters in forevers so I may be a bit off...specially with Marth...but you know, I try ^^;

So Callisto and Wish, this is for you =D

Ugh, this picture makes me want to cry! Really, the emotion you've captured here is stirring. And the symbolism!!! WOW! Your artistic representation of the pearl necklace was the perfect choice, and it ties the picture all together. I'm also INCREDIBLY GLAD you incorporated Zelda with the Triforce, as well! Their expressions are all so perfect for what they'd be feeling - ugh, I can't even say.

I am not kidding, not "trying to make you feel better" - the composition, the artistic choices, the content choices, the way you put it together, it's all - it's just - gah!

Oh, definitely not. I mean, as a fellow artists, I can see things you might feel insecure about, or things that could have used more detail, but it's really, really wonderful. I just keep looking at it...it's so...wow!
